The present invention relates to the technical field of human needs, particularly to the processing of prawns, lobsters, and the like, and more particularly to the preparation of a plastic biofilm comprising chitosan obtained from exuviae of Cherax quadricarinatus and Cambarellus Montezumae, and method for its preparation. It aims to formulate and standardize the process for making a plastic biofilm thereof through a specific process that considers the interaction of the polymer with other ingredients forming the plastic biofilm obtained from a residue in aquaculture crops with the growth of organisms. The bioplastic is flexible, resistant, and changes color as the product's storage time indicates. The application founds at the level of the food industry and industries that require degradable hydrocarbon plastics used in the packaging of their products during their marketing. In addition, it characterizes by changing color due to the oxidation of its organic components that are toxic to humans. Further, the present invention relates to a natural indicator of the storage time and the conditions of security of the products since its tonality changes as a function of time.
