The present invention relates to novel biodegradable triblock copolymers with the formula PLLA-b-PBS-b-PLLA and to compositions comprising same, which are suitable as a raw material for the preparation of packaging for food use. In particular, biodegradable compositions of PBS and PLA. A method for synthesising the triblock copolymer is also described.
