The cooperation covers 18 countries, including the DACH area, France, Poland, Sweden, South and Southeast Europe, Turkey and the UK.
The compounds mainly combine wood fibres with various matrix material blends of polyolefins, biopolyesters and PLA. According to the company, the possible applications of the product lines â??Silvaâ?, â??Solvaâ?, â??Lentaâ? and â??Sustraâ? â?? some of which use recycled materials â?? range from packaging to technical parts. In summer 2019, Biofibre took over wood-plastics composite and sheet producer Naftex (Wiesmoor / Germany; www.naftex.de), which significantly expanded its production capacities (see Plasteurope.com of 13.06.2019).
Nordmann has 460 employees and achieved a turnover of over EUR 440m in 2019. A few weeks ago, the distributor announced a pan-European sales partnership for engineering plastics with Spanish manufacturer Repol (Almazora; www.repol.com â?? see Plasteurope.com of 20.10.2020).28.10.2020 Plasteurope.com [246210-0]
