Orbis BiOAID N95 Reusable Mask â?? Covid 19

Orbis Develops Reusable N95 Mask

Orbis, CA, USA has developed a reusabale N95 mask to help meet the critical demand in the battle against COVID-19
The novel BiOAID thermoformed mask shell utilizes sterilized LDPE (or a long list of other polymers) “blister” pack materials used in pharmaceutical and food packaging industries.  Since the filter is removable, the shell can be easily sanitized using a disinfectant or soap and water.

BiOAID’s 2” x 4” strip of commonly available HEPA or MERV13 filter with a boundary layer added at the breathing apparatus offers an alternate to conventional N95 respirators composed of melt-blown polymers.

The filter is delivered in a patent-pending replaceable cartridge to further ease pressure on the supply chain and to reduce both the manufacturing cost and the retail price.

The semi-rigid face mask shape conforms to The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
The turned-radius design creates a rounded edge and curvature for improved seal and comfort. Conforms to varying facial contours, and easily accommodates beards and facial hair. A lack of crevices and slots enhances ease of sterilization and user safety.
