The Belgian packaging dealer holds a 74% stake in the new JV. With German branches in Munich, Frankfurt, Cologne, Potsdam, Hannover and in Vienna / Austria, Cup Concept organises the storage and transport logistics as well as the washing service for reusable cups employed at major sporting events and concerts. The polycarbonate or polypropylene cups are produced by parent company Fries (Sulz / Austria; www.fries-kt.com).
Cup Concept currently generates sales of EUR 13m. A company spokesperson reported that the sales volume for Cup Concept Belgium is â??in the seven-digit range.â? In addition to Belgium, other expansion markets include Ireland, the Netherlands and Portugal.06.02.2020 Plasteurope.com [244410-0]
